Perpetuum's footprint.
From warehouse floors to global forwarding operations, these projects show where Perpetuum leaves its footprint: solving complex operational challenges, shaping practical systems and turning logistics expertise into lasting impact.
Warehousing
Transform a manual warehouse operation into a hyper-connected warehouse environment for a leading footwear and apparel brand.
Across a multi-warehouse operation for a leading footwear and apparel brand, three facilities covered approximately 65,000 m² and handled around three million units every day. We configured Infor WMS to support inbound and outbound flows, order processing and end-to-end track and trace. The solution connected all three warehouses with SAP through real-time integrations, keeping operational and enterprise data aligned. We also incorporated value-added services into the workflows so additional handling could be managed within the same environment. Our work transformed previously manual and disconnected activities into a hyper-connected operating model. This improved visibility, consistency and control across the complete operation.
Stabilize and automate complex warehouse/production operations in petrochemical sector.
One of the world's largest service providers to the petrochemical industry operated a logistics facility with more than 20,000 m² of warehousing space. Four years after launch, persistent operational and system problems were still affecting reliability and efficiency. We reviewed the warehouse processes and WMS setup to identify where core functionalities no longer matched the operation's needs. We redesigned system logic around complex execution flows and automation connected to production lines within the warehouse. Load balancing and replenishment flows were optimized to keep work moving efficiently between production and storage areas. We also strengthened reporting so operational teams could identify issues and act on reliable information. This helped stabilize daily execution while creating a stronger foundation for further automation and continuous improvement.
Implement an industry-leading warehouse management system in EV sector.
A new warehouse facility in Dunkirk was established to support electric vehicle and battery operations. The project faced tight implementation deadlines and functionality challenges while warehouse operations were already running. We provided hands-on project management and WMS consultancy for the implementation of Infor. Our team configured the system and defined the WMS strategy around the required warehouse processes. We aligned functionality, operational priorities and implementation actions so critical improvements could be introduced without stopping the live operation. This created a more controlled and scalable foundation for the facility.
Green-build warehouse in e-commerce for white goods brand.
For the UK operations of a world-leading electronics supplier, we supported the greenfield development of a warehouse dedicated to white goods. The operation had to handle a broad variety of products with very different dimensions, handling requirements and storage profiles. We optimized the warehouse floor plan to create practical flows for receiving, storage, picking and dispatch. Our team configured the custom-built WMS around these processes and the specific characteristics of the product range. We also provided project management to align operational, systems and implementation workstreams. This created a more structured foundation for efficient and scalable execution across the supplier's UK operation.
WMS implementation and configuration for e-commerce warehousing site.
We supported the development of an e-commerce warehouse built around very short delivery thresholds. We configured Manhattan WMS and helped define the operational and systems strategy from the start. Our work focused on optimizing system logic for fast and reliable order fulfilment. Return flows were designed as a core operational process rather than an exception. We also incorporated value-added services into the warehouse setup. The result was a stronger foundation for scalable e-commerce execution with speed, control and flexibility.
Freight forwarding
Develop integrated PO management- and vendor booking tool for a mid-sized German freight forwarder.
For a mid-sized German freight forwarder, we built an integrated supplier booking system from scratch. The solution centralizes supplier booking activities and gives operations one clear environment for managing booking information and follow-up with approval workflows. We extended the platform with purchase-order upload functionality, allowing PO data to enter the workflow without repetitive manual entry. The integration links purchase orders to vendor bookings and improves visibility across the process. This provides a stronger basis for efficient coordination, reliable data and further digitalization.
Design a shipment planning tool for SCM operations of a world-leading ocean carrier.
For the supply chain management operations of a world-leading ocean carrier, we created a centralized shipment planning utility. The interface enables users to create shipments, receive transport plans and manage booking and loading updates in one place. We translated complex planning steps into a clear operational workflow that supports day-to-day execution. The tool also integrates with an external carrier allocation solution, keeping planning decisions and available carrier capacity aligned. This reduces fragmented handling and gives teams better control and visibility throughout the shipment planning process.
Design an integral custom-built operational system for a mid-sized Swiss-based freight forwarder.
For a mid-sized Swiss freight forwarder, we helped designing an end-to-end operational system tailored to its business. Perpetuum led the consultancy work, including process analysis, solution design and project management, while the client supplied its in-house development capacity. Together, we translated the freight forwarder's operating model into a coherent platform structure. The scope includes master data, CRM, rate and quotation management, origin and destination booking management, invoicing and integrations with third-party systems. Our role helped connect operational requirements with technical delivery and keep the different modules aligned. The result is a fully customized system foundation that supports the complete forwarding lifecycle and can evolve with the business.
